The NESDIS Cooperative Research Program has invited scientists from
the Cooperative Research Centers (CIRA, CIMSS,CICS, CREST, CIOSS)
to participate in a two and a half day workshop on Measuring and Modeling
Aerosols. The keynote presentation will
be by Dr. Bruce Hicks
of NOAA ARL who will outline NOAA's aerosol prediction program. Short
presentations will be intermingled with breakout sessions to plan
collaborative activities to reach the program goals.
Participants should send a short 200 word abstract to Fran Holt (Fran.Holt@noaa.gov)
by May 10, 2004. The
meeting will be held in the Physics
building (building 26) at the University of Maryland, Baltimore
County.
