Instrument Description
The Metone Model 1020 Beta Attenuation Monitor is an EPA Federal Reference Measurement instrument for ground level PM2.5 or PM10. The UMBC instrument is on loan from the Maryland Department of Environment and the data is reported through the State submissions to EPA's AIRNOW data system.
