INTEX: Project Support

Today marks the start of the INTEX-NA Project, a multi-agency "science campaign to understand the transport and transformation of gases and aerosols on transcontinental and intercontinental scales and their impact on air quality and climate." Over the next 6 weeks, we will be supporting flight planning (by Dr. Wallace McMillan, UMBC) and data collection by posting daily satellite, lidar, and ground-based data and products for the midAtlantic, midwest, and northeast regions. Each of these posts will begin with "INTEX" in the title.

We will continue to post interesting air quality events as they occur across the entire U.S., so keep checking daily for smoke, haze, and dust as it happens!
