An article in the Washington Post last week discussed weather blogs, an interesting alternative to the standard weather sites. One nice site in the midAtlantic region is Capital Weather, so I have added a link to them on our site.
There was also a story on NPR tonight on the use of satellite data for monitoring the global environment, particularly the immense amount of data that needs to be translated to useful information (just like we try to do here at the Smog Blog!).
