Relatively clear east, more clouds in the West

Most of the East experienced clear skies and beautiful temperatures; cloudy conditions were apparent further west. Skies were relatively clear in Maryland as mentioned earlier by Ray Rogers (see his post). Lingering haze seems to be apparent over the Atlantic.

Air quality conditions across most of the nation were “good” (EPA AIRNow) and today's GASP image shows low AOD values.
