UMBC Nephelometer Data
The sharp increase in this week's scattering coefficient on February 8th is due to both local sources as well as transport into this area, indicated by earlier posts this week. The air is much cleaner after a cold front moves into the area on the 10th, yeilding lower scattering coefficients.
