Moderate Conditions Continue in the East
Mostly moderate air quality conditions remain in the East Coast and Midwest. Data from GASP, IDEA, and UW MODIS Direct display the hazy conditions (see below). It also looks like smoke from Central America is affecting southern Texas and the Gulf again. Finally, skies were mostly cloudy in the western states and a frontal system is moving towards the East.
