Today was very clear in lidar; there were no clouds in the sky and relatively small aerosol content. The boundary layer was fairly well mixed until 2100z when there was a sharp increase in aerosols. This is a local source, although there were no visible indication as to where the source was. This image also shows the boundary layer starting to diminish following 0:00z on May 10, 2005.
