Two Plumes Over UMBC

This run immediately indicates that today has more aerosol content than yesterday, although the key bridge was still clearly visible. Also, aerosol content near the surface gradually diminishes over the day.

Seen in this timeseries are two aerosol plumes aloft, advecting over UMBC after 1800z from 1.5 km to 3 km. This is transport, but from where? According to Hysplit, air earlier in the day (12:00z) was coming from due north of Baltimore. A trajectory will be posted as soon as Hysplit data is updated to contain 2100z.
