Moderate haze in northeast and midwest
PM2.5 levels were similar to yesterday with moderate levels across the east and midwest. MODIS Terra showed a stream of haze off the coast of Virginia and North Carolina, also indicated by elevated aerosol optical depths. Haze was also visible off the northeast coast, especially near Maine.
