A Buggy Instrument
We have not posted UMBC Nephelometer data for about a month or so due to a daily clogging of the nephelometer tubing with grass and grasshoppers, pictured below. Today the culprit was caught red handed - wasps. Yes, wasps have been carrying dead grasshoppers into the nephelometer. Hopefully we will get the nephelometer back online shortly.
