It's HAZY out there!
Our webcam, which is overlooking downtown Baltimore, shows mostly hazy skies (left image ?taken at 9am). We estimate visibility to be around 6 to 7km, which is approximately 3.73 to 4.34 miles. Today's NPS webcam image also shows hazy conditions in Washington D.C (right image-taken at 9am); visual range is approximately 9 miles.
Ozone is currently 3ppb and PM2.5 ~ 35.0 ug/m^3, which is “moderate” (code yellow) air quality. Air-Watch.net forecasts “unhealthy for sensitive groups” (code orange) air quality, which means conditions will only get worse as the day progresses.
