Smoke plumes in TX and AR

The PM2.5 is moderate in southern California, parts of the Midwest and the east coast. Houston has higher fine particle concentrations ranging from 40.5 ug/m3 to 65.4 ug/m3 and the ozone levels are “moderate” to "unhealthy for sensitive groups” (up to AQI 143 or 101 ppb ). The rest of the country has good AQI. The HMS map shows some smoke plumes in Texas and Arkansas. The plumes are visible on the MODIS Direct images too.
