Smoky-hazy in DC-Baltimore
Webcams (and the view from my window) show brown-tinted haze in DC and Baltimore this morning. The particulate levels aren't that high but have doubled since yesterday (according to Air-Watch.net). This may partially be the smoke Kamonayi predicted yesterday but likely includes sulfates and other pollutants transported from the haze we've seen in the Plains states over the last few days (see September 6, 7, 8). We'll post more analysis later today.
