Moderate in Midwest and CA

The air quality remains moderate in the Midwest and southern California (EPA AirNow map). The PM2.5 AQI is 82 in Los Angeles. The rest of the country has a good air quality, which means that the levels do not exceed 15.5 ug/m3. Unfortunately, because parts of the Midwest and the south are covered with clouds, it is difficult to see any lingering haze (MODIS Direct image).
