Nikisa's image from Louisiana is a good example of the Indirect Effect. The smoke from the fire on the right of the image is suppressing the formation of small cloud droplets. This was discussed in a paper by Ilan Koren of JCET and Yoram Kaufman in 2004 and seen in Amazon fires.
