As the potential Asian dust we have been following the last few days moves off from the northeastern U.S., China continues to experience serious dust storms. Last night was the eighth major dust storm this year. Chinese news sources report that over 300,000 tons of dust and sand (20 grams of dust per square meter) fell on Beijing last night.
