Hazy in Baltimore
The Baltimore skyline (distance ~12 km) is barely visible around noon. Using Koschmeider’s relationship, visible range = 3.91 / extinction, and assuming a visible range of 15 km, the extinction coefficient at the ground is roughly 260 Mm^-1.
