For another view of the Von Karman vortex street today, here is a MODIS Aqua image of the coast of Baja California, Mexico, created by editing a Rapidfire 500 m subset. It could be found 3 hours earlier in the Terra image as well. As Ray says, it really is a thing of beauty.
