California continued hazy

California continued to be hazy, with several sites registering unhealthy conditions during the day and visible haze in the MODIS Aqua image in the afternoon.

In the rest of the U.S., cold conditions in the east and another storm crossing the midwest kept air quality conditions mostly good with just a few local moderate readings.
