Haze in central California and Utah
Air quality conditions continued to be poor in the western U.S., specifically Utah and California where they were unhealthy to moderate. According to AIRNow they improved a little as the day progressed, but the MODIS Aqua image in the early afternoon revealed considerable haze in central California and I think I can see the haze in Utah as well.
