What’s that over Eastern Canada?
Intense haze/smoke was clearly identifiable over Eastern Canada. Earlier in the week Jill pointed out pollution west of this region. HMS (click for HMS smoke text product) indicates that this pollution is primarily due to fires in Eastern Canada. The NRL NAAPS modeling team also suggestions that this is smoke. Hopefully, REALM participants at DAL University are running their LIDAR since this is a major event.
