Partly cloudy skies (dark red returns in today's plot) prevailed during today's timeseries. A rising boundary layer from 0.5-1.5 km during the first 2.5 hours of observations. Also during this timeframe residual aerosols are observed up to 2 km. Please note that the colorbar for today in the extinction plot is factor of 2 smaller than the last lidar post. Temperature at UMBC reached the mid 80's. Good AQI PM2.5 decreased from 43-33 at Maryland's Department of the Enviroment Oldtown site in Baltimore during ELF's operation.
