CLEAR SKIES OVER UMBC AND GOOD AQI LEVELS

Clear skies, as shown in the backscatter plot (left panel), prevailed throughout today's observations as a high pressure system dominated over Baltimore. A homogeneous boundary layer can be observed up to 2.5 km (right panel). Hourly PM 2.5 concentrations in the range of 6.5 to 12.5 ug/m3 [AQI Levels: 21-40 (Good)] were recorded at Maryland's Department of the Enviroment Oldtown site in Baltimore during ELF's operation.
