High pressure with low clouds in the afternoon
High pressure is with us today. It is clear in the morning and then there are some boundary layer capped low clouds in the afternoon. The hourly PM 2.5 concentrations in the range of 13.9 to 25.3 ug/m3 are recorded at Maryland's Department of the Environment Oldtown site in Baltimore during ELF's operation. The aerosol optical depth is around 0.3 from AERONET, MD science center.
