more hazy than yesterday
Today was more hazy than yesterday with some scattered clouds present. The aloft layer at ~2.3km was from the west of UMBC from HYSPLIT. The hourly PM 2.5 concentrations in the range of 18.3 to 31.1 ug/m3, which was an increase compared to yesterday, were recorded at the Oldtown site during ELF’s operation. The aerosol optical depth was ~0.45 in the afternoon from the AERONET site, MD Science Center.
