Clear day
It was very clear with the high pressure system here today. The boundary layer extended to ~1.5km. There was also the aloft layer at ~3km, which was from the northwest of UMBC from HYSPLIT. The hourly PM 2.5 concentrations in the range of 8.3 to 12.1 ug/m3 were recorded at the Oldtown site during ELF’s operation. The aerosol optical depth was ~0.1 from the AERONET site, MD Science Center.
