Haze continues in California

While the northeast U.S. was hit by yet another winter storm, the air quality continued to worsen in central Califonia. Dense haze is visible in the true color MODIS image (left). Fine particle concentrations were moderate to unhealthy throughout many locations (AIRNow image on the right).
