Moderate in the northeast

Moderate fine particle concentrations continued in the northeast U.S. today, particularly Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine (see AIRNow image on the left) The area was cloud-covered (MODIS image, right). Air quality conditions were mostly good in the rest of the U.S.
