A few fires in Kansas and Oklahoma

Air quality was pretty good today on this spring Sunday. The smoky haze in the central U.S. was diminished significantly from the last few days. Still, a few fires and smoke plumes could be seen in eastern Kansas and Oklahoma (see MODIS image below, left). This resulted in some code yellow conditions for fine particles (AIRNow image, right).
