Haze and Moderate PM2.5 Levels

Hazy skies prevailed during today's operation. PM2.5 Concentrations ranging 32-41 ug/m3 (AQI Level: 83-101, Moderate-Unhealthy) between 2:00-4:00 EST (17:00 -19:00 UTC) were recorded at Maryland Department of the Environment Oldtown Station and coincide temporally with the red counts (light scattering increase due to more particles/aerosols). Residuals from yesterday's boundary layer extend up to 1.8 km, as today's boundary layer rises from ~0.6-1.5 km.
