Haze over the Great Lakes region

Conditions haven’t changed much from yesterday. Haze, responsible for code yellow conditions (moderate AQI), still lingers over the Midwest (image source UW MODIS Today) and Great Lakes region (top images). In fact, the air quality was mostly moderate throughout the central U.S.; conditions were generally good everywhere else.

A fire was also visible in California. The air quality is primarily moderate in Southern California.
