PM2.5 elevated in California and Florida

There is a plume of haze in California which seems to be ahead of a frontal boundary and appears to be aloft (left image near San Francisco). On the ground, southern California and Nevada have elevated PM and Las Vegas is in the Unhealthy zone. The Jean AIRNow site reached 120 ug/m3 in PM late today. The GASP AOD image (upper right panel) shows the haze off San Francisco and in the south.

In Florida, PM levels are elevated but this appears to be due to the outflow of smoke which was seen along the Gulf Coast yesterday. The MODIS image (lower left panel) shows the haze coming from the west. The GASP AOD image for Florida is in the lower right panel.

Your UR image, the "gasp aod" looks a bit different and better than what i get at the GASP site listed below (the only one i know). Is your version altered or is there another website source?
