Aerosols in the South and North

Skies continue to be hazy in the South. Surface air quality monitors are also in the moderate range. Refer to previous posts on the blog for a possible explanation of pollution source. Skies are also smoky/hazy in the North Central United States. Canada (see HMS product) is a possible source for the pollution transport. The air quality remained predominantly good everywhere else, except for California which had several instances of code yellow (moderate AQI) conditions.
