Congratulations are due to our colleague, Tom Duck of Dalhousie University, who is a co-investigator with PI Allan Carswell and co-I Jim Whiteway on the lidar mission which just landed on Mars on the Phoenix lander. Tom is part of REALM and has been contributing data to our air quality work here on Earth and now he and his students will be studying dust in the Martian atmosphere. More on the Mars Lander's lidar can be found here.
