Clouds and Good-Moderate PM2.5 AQI

Clouds (red counts) advected over ELF during today's observations. PM2.5 concentrations at MDE's Oldtown monitoring station increased from 13-28 ug/m3 (Good-Moderate AQI levels) during lidar operation. This increase in PM2.5 can be associated to the increase of particle scattering near the surface (<500 m) observed in the lidar timeseries after 15:00 UTC.
