Moderate PM2.5 AQI Levels in Baltimore

While most of the US had good PM2.5 AQI concentrations, a high pressure system settled over the Mid-Atlantic and made the PM2.5 concentrations in Baltimore reach moderate AQI levels. Concentrations ranged from 14-35 ug/m3, during the lidar operation. Boundary layer reached up to heights around 800m. The red counts near the ground around 15:00 UTC are linked to the period of time when the greatest concentration of PM2.5 (27-35 ug/m3) was recorded at Maryland's Department of the Environment Oldtown monitoring site.
