Moderate Air Quality in the Central Valley Continues

Well, AIRNow is down until Monday and I am having trouble finding images I can download from California, so
for now I can report that the air quality is similar to yesterday, Bakersfield is still in the unhealthy range and
the other sites up until San Joaquin are in the moderate range. It is cloudy over much of the west coast and the
eastern half of the US (left image, MODIS Terra). This close up of southern California (right) from MODIS Aqua shows the persistent cloud cover over the Central Valley. Further south, there seems to be some haze as well over the LA area.
