Most of the country had Good PM 2.5 today. California continued to have scattered Code Orange hourly AQI values in the morning, clearing up to Moderate by late in the afternoon (left). Clouds covered both the eastern half of the country and most of the west coast.

An examination of NOAA’s hazard mapping system revealed no smoke plumes and very few hotspots across the country.
