Moderate PM air quality and moderate ozone in the Great Lakes states

Very similar conditions to the last few days in the Great Lakes region. We have elevated PM2.5 and ozone from Wisconsin through Pennsylvania. In southern Michigan, ozone has hit the moderate level.

Smoke continues through southern Mexico and Guatemala. This is likely to be a source of the elevated haze and pollution in the midwest.

Weekly summary: This week was characterized by continued fires in Mexico with frequent northerly flow into Texas and up through the Mississippi Valley. PM concentrations have been moderate over a widespread area to the east of the Mississippi and ozone concentrations are rising through the east.
