Today PM2.5 moderate levels were spread over about the same regions as yesterday as can be seen in the AIRNow map (top, left). Moderate ozone levels in the East did not persist throughout the day possibly due to the cloudy/rainy conditions today.
Also due to the cloud coverage here in US, satellite imagery was not possible to be used to explore any feature, but in Central America some smoke could be observed with Terra MODIS true image (top, right).
On the left of the bottom images there's NOAA HMS fire/smoke map and on the right the NAAPS (Navy Aerosol Analysis and Prediction System) product for today, showing higher concentration of sulfates in the East.
