Improved ozone levels; Fires in the Southeast

Today AIRNow PM2.5 map (top, left) showed moderate air quality in most of the Southeast up to parts of the Northeast in the beginning of the day evolving to cleaner conditions later in the day.
Ozone levels improved since yesterday, and a zoom in California can be seen here.

HMS fires map (top, right) shows today some smoke from the fires in the Southeast reported yesterday and also an area of smoke over south Manitoba, Canada stretching to the northern portion of the Midwest, but no smoke could be observed in MODIS Terra true color image.
A zoom in the Southeast with AQI overlaid on the MODIS Terra image is provided on the left (bottom) and the MODIS Terra AOD map for the whole US is on the right (bottom).
