Air quality conditions are relatively similar to yesterday. Fine particulate matter (PM2.5) and ozone remains high in California (top images). More EPA AIRNow sites are reporting moderate PM2.5 concentrations in Southern Florida. Lingering aerosol (likely Saharan dust) is still present over the Gulf and Caribbean (bottom image; UW MODIS Direct). There are no other major events occurring. Breathe easy!
