Alaska fires update; Unhealthy AQI in Oregon

Today US experienced relatively good AQI with exception to one station in Oregon which recorded an evolution from good conditions to unhealthy conditions (Code Red) through the day. AIRNow AQI map (top, left) shows moderate levels in Southern California, Oklahoma, upper portion of Southeast and Northeast.
Ozone levels (top, right) were good throughout the country with exception to California that reached up to code orange levels.
Now with respect to the still ongoing Alaska fires, a new Air Quality Advisory for interior Alaska was issued by the Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation and is valid until tomorrow. It reports that "overall air quality will be good, with some areas closest to the fires experiencing periods that are unhealthy for sensitive individuals." Unlike last week, no hazardous conditions are expected.
MODIS Terra true color image shows an extensive smoke going from Alaska to almost Northern Canada (bottom, left). AOD map for US shows no abnormal values (bottom, right).
