Smoke is still Located over the Great Lakes; Good air quality conditions across U.S.
HMS at NOAA reports remnant smoke/haze from previous fires over the great lakes and surrounding states as in the last days (top left). Today's MODIS TERRA AOD map shows high AOD levels over these areas (top right). In addition, smoke from fires is read in the North of Texas apparently moving to the east (see image).
Although in California the ozone levels reached from "Good" to "Moderate for Sensitive Groups" (bottom left), air quality across the country is been stable in Ozone as well as PM2.5 parameters (bottom right).
