Good air quality overall, despite some haze
Today good part of US enjoyed good air quality (top, right - MODIS Terra overlaid with AIRNow AQI), except for parts of California, Wyoming and South Dakota which presented moderate to unhealthy (for sensitive groups) ozone levels.
Other than that, some fires were reported by HMS at NOAA in Canada, Arizona, Oregon, Kansas and Texas (top, right) but no significant smoke over US was reported. A large area of smoke was reported over Canada, more specifically over Quebec and Ontario.
In MODIS images we see some haze over Central US (bottom, left - Aqua) which seems to be responsible for higher AOD values in that region (bottom, right).
