Today is the 6th anniversay of the Smog Blog! We started 6 years ago with very short posts in order to plan for data collection and to see if we could observe pollution transport. We have had posts every day since then, expanding our analysis and observing many amazing events. Thank you to all our readers for your interest and comments over the years!

we miss you.
Thank you, Ana, but it wasn't all just my idea. The team of fellow smog bloggers over the years is what really made it improve and endure.
Posted by: Jill Engel-Cox at September 23, 2009 5:00 AMCongratulations to all the bloggers on 6 years of smog blogging! We have noted the expansive coverage and use of more data types over the years. We find the posts useful in helping us do our work (the HMS fire and smoke analysis) and hope that the blog continues for many years to come.
