International: Vog from the Ambrym Volcano in South Pacific

I admit to a fascination with vog (volcanic smog from sulfur emissions), which can be quite noxious and widespread. The NASA Earth Observatory posted this beautiful image of large vog plume from the Ambrym Volcano, in the Coral Sea , northeast of Australia. The air quality may be good in the U.S. but it is not always a tropical paradise in the South Pacific.
