Good and Moderate AQI; Smoke from fires in the Plains and Canada

Today, AirNow reported good and moderate AQI levels over the US. Moderate PM2.5 levels were reached in the eastern and plain states as well as in Texas (top left). On the other hand, Ozone levels were good in most of the Nation although moderate and unhealthy levels for sensitive groups were read in the Mid-Atlantic Region and California (top right). Some fires continue to take place in the USA and Canada (bottom left). A large area of remnant light smoke in Montana and the central Plains is been detected due to the fires in Montana, the Dakotas and Wyoming with some contribution from wildfires burning in southern Canada.
According to Canada fires, moderate dense smoke covered portions of Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba, with an area of light residual smoke much larger in scope, as a result of numerous fires burning from the border of British Columbia, Southeast Yukon and the southwestern Northwest Territories eastward across Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and Quebec. High AOD levels were read by Modis over Canada, Montana due to the fires. In addition High AOD levels over Florida are caused by the African dust reaching the Atlantic coast as it was reported by John this week(bottom left)
