Moderate to Unhealthy PM2.5 over Pacific Northwest; Good Air Quality elsewhere contines

There are significantly less mid to upper level smoke reports over the Pacific Northwest today as well for the rest of nation (bottom left, courtesy HMS analysis team). Albeit, according to NAAPS smoke concentration forecasts, surface smoke may continue creating poor air quality conditions for the Pacific Northwest through mid-week. Code Red (Unhealthy), Code Orange (Unhealthy for Sensitive), and Code Yellow (Moderate) PM2.5 AQI levels were reported again today in the wildfire active region. Elsewhere, PM2.5 conditions were mostly Code Green (Good), except for the Great Lakes area, which experienced a few Code Yellow levels. In terms of surface ozone, Code Green conditions prevailed over the country.
